Next time, we'll attend the final phase of the shovel fastening on SPMTs and discover new lighting poles built by Michel to improve visibility on LorraMine site at nighttime.

Regards.

As always, fantastic work. I especially like the up-close camera angles. Very nice!

Guy how soon do you figure before the 6090 has some bruises and scares on it, I don’t think it will be that quick because The Q is getting hair plugs installed back in NC. That means they will have somebody with an actual Hydralics license operating it which might be a good thing.

Steve,

To be fair with you, I haven't seen the Caterpillar shovel in a "weathered form" in the French forum LorraMine topic to-date.
As Olive ended his collaboration with the team recently, I suspect that weathering activities haven't progressed a lot these days.

I hope it helps.

Guy thanks for the response, maybe it will be power washed every night and they will leave a couple of cans of Cat yellow in the cab for touch ups.

Steve,

Correct: mobile lighting sets are all scratch built.

Joe,

Here comes the Belaz 75710 dumper:

As part of the media communication around the event, Lorramine PR have managed to get the old Titan dumper, normally exposed in front of the main building, driven to the workshop area to pose alongside the new 450 tonnes capacity giant:

Belaz engine hood protrudes so much that dumpers parking concrete protections had to be moved forward to get it some space there:

PR communication is certainly very important but mining operations are paramount in LorraMine. Next time, we'll attend the Belaz dumper 1st day of work:

Fantastic! Got any photos of the white Demag H485 in the background? That would be much appreciated!

Guy that is one big monster, and thanks for posting the comparison chart. The shots as usual are second to none.
